1. Measure the erected carton
Record internal length, width and height at more than one point. Note board grade, flute, flap layout and any bowed panels.
Made to fit your shipping carton
Turn an existing corrugated carton into a compact thermal shipper with a liner sized around the real box interior, charge utile, emplacements du liquide de refroidissement, closure and packing workflow.
Prepare a sample request
Enter the carton measurements and select the operating conditions that matter. Tempk can use this brief to prepare a liner structure and sample plan for fit and thermal review.

Measure before material selection
The liner must fit the box and still leave enough room for product, liquide de refroidissement, dividers and closure. A nominal carton size rarely captures board thickness, manufacturing variation or flap interference.
Record internal length, width and height at more than one point. Note board grade, flute, flap layout and any bowed panels.
Mousse, bulle, épaisseur du panneau, corner overlaps and top closure all reduce the clear internal chamber.
Confirm payload removal, coolant clearance, annuler le contrôle, closure pressure and carton shape with the actual product format.
Choose how the liner is assembled
Fold pattern affects corner coverage, temps d'emballage, flat-pack volume, moisture paths and how consistently operators can close the carton.
A scored liner opens inside the carton and reduces the number of loose parts at the packing station.
Separate panels can adapt around unusual carton proportions or create different wall and lid constructions.
A pouch can simplify moisture containment; a foil-laminated board insert can add shape and defined folds.
Define what will be quoted
Material name alone is not enough for repeat purchasing. The drawing, layer construction, plis, coutures, tolerances and packing method should be controlled together.
| Article de spécification | Choices to define | What to check in the sample |
|---|---|---|
| Carton and fit | Measured internal dimensions, carton board, liner outer dimensions, assembly clearance and orientation | Easy insertion without buckling, gaps or excessive outward pressure on the carton. |
| Thermal construction | Foil-faced EPE foam, feuille à bulles, foil-laminated board or an agreed paper/fiber concept | Layer identity, épaisseur, edge condition, compression and consistency across panels. |
| Fold and seam | One-piece score pattern, ensemble de panneaux, pouch seam, chevauchement des coins, lid style and joining method | No unintended open corner, snag, sharp edge or assembly ambiguity. |
| Contrôle de l'humidité | Surface film, sealed seam, sac de doublure, fond absorbant, leak containment and venting decision | Condensation path, wet-out, ponction, label adhesion and carton strength after the route. |
| Coolant integration | Haut, side or base positions; poches; séparateurs; couches tampons; pack size and removal method | Stable coolant placement without crushing product or preventing closure. |
| Identification | Logo, couleur, liner size code, fold marks, part number, batch label and packing instruction | Operators can select, orient and fold the correct liner without guesswork. |
| Supply pack | Flat-stack quantity, bundle size, carton kit, modèle de palette, moisture wrap and storage condition | Acceptable warehouse cube, unpacking time, panel flatness and damage rate. |
Plan the supply form
A liner that performs well but arrives in bulky pre-assembled form may create avoidable inbound freight and warehouse pressure. Review the full packing operation before approving supply.
Lowest assembled volume at receipt and suited to palletized bulk supply. Check fold memory, operator setup time and bundle protection.
Liner and matching carton are packed as one controlled set. Check part identification, kit completeness and replenishment workflow.
Reduces folding at the shipping station but increases transport and storage cube. Check nesting, shape recovery and handling damage.
Approve the liner in stages
Separating fit, pack-station and performance checks makes design changes easier to understand and avoids spending a thermal test on a liner that operators cannot assemble consistently.
Confirmer les dimensions, plis, coutures, chevauchement du couvercle, carton insertion and the minimum usable chamber.
Time the assembly, load real product and coolant, check closure pressure and observe operator errors.
Use the agreed payload, starting conditions, liquide de refroidissement, ambient profile and sensor positions.
Inspect liner movement, ponction, wet-out, résistance du carton, product condition and receiving steps.
From drawing to repeat supply
Provide an erected carton, dimensions intérieures, board details and required payload space.
Set the material direction, motif de pliage, fermeture, moisture control and coolant positions.
Review fit, assemblée, volume utilisable, labels and the loaded packing sequence.
Check the agreed thermal route plus handling, condensation and carton integrity.
Approve the drawing, tolérances, bundle quantity, pallet pack, artwork and reorder code.
Use the connected planning resources
Before requesting a sample
Send measured internal length, width and height from an erected carton. Also provide the outside size, board grade or dieline when available so fit and shipping cube can be reviewed together.
That depends on material thickness, plis, corner overlaps, lid design and assembly clearance. Tempk can confirm usable chamber dimensions on the cut sample rather than relying on a generic deduction.
The choice depends on route duration, condition cible, humidité, manutention, required rigidity, objectifs d'élimination, packing speed and cost. Compare the complete packout under the intended route conditions.
Oui. Folding and multi-panel liners can be bundled flat to reduce storage and inbound freight volume. Bundle size, fold recovery and assembly time should be approved with the sample.
Identification labels, size codes, marques d'orientation, printed instructions and selected branding options can be included after the liner drawing and supply pack are confirmed.
The liner can be designed around defined gel packs, briques de glace, PCM or other suitable coolant positions. Coolant quantity and placement should be confirmed with the actual payload and route test.
Share the erected carton dimensions, charge utile, itinéraire, liquide de refroidissement, moisture exposure and order quantity. Tempk can prepare a liner sample direction and OEM quotation.
