Cold Chain Packaging Technical Documentation

Start with the document for your exact box and coolant configuration. Use this guide to check what the information covers and to request the details you need for your shipment.

Existing insulated box technical pages

These two existing English pages describe the No.2 and No.5 insulated boxes with +5°C configurations. Open the matching page, then confirm the current model, components and document revision before using its values.

These links open web pages, not downloadable qualification reports. The +5°C label identifies the documented configuration; it does not guarantee a product temperature or a shipping duration.

Six details to check before relying on a document

A specification or test result is useful when its scope matches the packaging and conditions you plan to use.

Model and revision

Match the box identifier, component versions and document date. Ask for the current revision if the page differs from your supplied product.

Usable payload space

Distinguish external dimensions, internal dimensions and usable loading space after coolant and separators are installed.

Complete packout

Check coolant type, quantity, placement, initial state, payload and loading sequence. A component value alone does not describe the whole system.

Temperature limits

Separate the coolant transition temperature from the product’s allowable temperature range and the test acceptance limits.

Test conditions

Review ambient profile, conditioning, payload, duration, logger locations and acceptance criteria. Results apply to the configuration tested.

Changes and intended use

A different route, season, payload or preparation method may require further review. Confirm which evidence is relevant before use.

Which information should you request?

Document availability depends on the exact product, configuration and purpose. Ask for the applicable information rather than assuming every item has the same document set.

Product specification

Use for model identification, dimensions, materials and component details. Confirm tolerances and usable space for your configuration.

Thermal test evidence

Request the test method, configuration, conditions, acceptance criteria and temperature results needed to assess your route. A test report is distinct from operating instructions.

Safety and material information

Identify the exact coolant or material. Ask which safety data sheet or material information applies; a generic statement does not establish suitability for every use.

Prepare your document request

Select the information you already have. The inquiry button adds a local-language summary to the form; this checklist is not a qualification or compliance decision.

Read performance claims with their conditions

A hold-time figure without the tested packout, payload, preparation and ambient profile is not enough to assess a shipment. Material declarations and packaging test evidence serve different purposes. Confirm the relevant scope and revision for your application.

Technical documentation questions

Where are the downloadable reports?

This page links to two existing technical web pages. For a specification, safety document or test report for your exact configuration, send the model and the purpose of your review so Tempk can confirm availability.

Does a +5°C box label mean every shipment stays at +5°C?

No. The label describes the documented configuration. Product temperature performance depends on the complete packout and conditions, and must be assessed against the relevant evidence and acceptance limits.

Is a material declaration a packaging qualification report?

No. Material information concerns the specified material or component. Packaging qualification addresses a defined system, procedure and test conditions; review the scope of each document separately.

Which dimensions should I use to check fit?

Use the usable payload dimensions for the complete packout. Internal box dimensions may include space needed for coolant and separators; confirm fit with your actual load.

Can I apply a report to a modified packout?

Review changes to the box, coolant, payload, conditioning or route before relying on a previous result. Ask whether the existing evidence still covers the modified configuration.

What should I include in a document request?

Send model identifiers, product temperature limits, payload, route and expected duration. State whether you need specifications, safety information, operating instructions or thermal evidence, and provide any existing document reference.

Need technical information for your shipment?

Tell us the model and what you need to assess. We can confirm which product and configuration documents are applicable and what additional details are needed.
